Katelyn is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Trent University, and a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto.

Over the years, Katelyn has supported individuals struggling with diverse issues. Katelyn helps her clients to develop skills to navigate challenges so they can live a more fulfilled life while relieving distress. She can work with you to help you understand your emotions/feelings, how to cope in constructive ways, build resilience, overcome challenging thoughts, reduce anxiety and depression, and gain a better understanding of your sense of self.

Katelyn has experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams in community agencies. Through an anti-oppressive and trauma informed lens, Katelyn uses a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet her client’s unique needs through a person-centered approach.

Her client focus are adolescence and adults.

As a therapist, Katelyn strives to create a supportive and safe space that is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental where client’s feel safe to share, explore and embark on personal growth.

In her free time, Katelyn enjoys engaging in health and wellness activities, such as exercise and getting outdoors. She also enjoys caring for her many indoor plants
