When you or someone you love is facing emotional, cognitive, behavioural or developmental challenges, it can often feel overwhelming to know where to begin. Navigating ADHD, autism spectrum challenges, developmental disabilities, cognitive impairments, brain injury, learning challenges, anxiety, depression, mood concerns, self-harm, school difficulties, identity struggles, or social connection challenges can bring feelings of frustration, uncertainty, and isolation. But with the right support, individuals can build confidence, strengthen their abilities, and create meaningful progress. These are areas Veronika has supported children, youths, adults and families.
Over the years, Veronika has worked collaboratively with schools to created and run programs to help children, youth and adults not only learn ways of dealing with everyday struggles but also enhance social skills and manage behaviour.
With over 7 years of experience supporting children, adults and families across disability management, rehabilitation, mental health, community, and vocational settings, Veronika helps clients recognize their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, build confidence, and move toward greater independence and well-being. She also supports families and caregivers in navigating challenges while understanding and empowering their loved ones.
Veronika creates a safe, inclusive, and strengths-based space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered. She believes every individual has unique strengths and potential, regardless of the challenges they may face.
Using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), client-focused and narrative approaches, CBT-informed and DBT-informed interventions, psychoeducation, behavioural support, rehabilitation principles, disability management, and trauma-informed care, Veronika tailors therapy to each client’s needs. Her goal is to help individuals and families build resilience, develop meaningful skills, strengthen relationships, and create lasting positive change.
